Use of infinitive:
بن جاتا ہے۔ “infinitive” لگانے سے “To”ورب کی پہلی فارم کے ساتھ
- To read – پڑھنا
- To See – دیکھنا
- To write – لکھنا
- To run – دوڑنا
Zia likes to take tea.
ضیاء چائے پینا پسند کرتاہے۔
Now this is the time to read.
اب یہ پڑھنےکاوقت ہے۔
To laugh at others is not good.
دوسروں پرہنسنااچھی بات نہیں ہے۔
To criticize is easy.
نکتہ چینی کرناآسان بات ہے۔
I do not want to injure any body’s feeling.
میں کسی کا دل دکھانا نہیں چاہتا۔
He is sorry to have kept me waiting so long.
اسےافسوس ہے کہ اس نےمجھےاتنی دیرانتظارمیں رکھا۔
My intention is to walk on foot.
میرا ارادہ پیدل چلنےکا ہے۔
Ali’s pleasure was to play.
علی کی خوشی کھیلنےکی ہے۔
The carpenters made a large carriage to take Gulliver to the capital city.
بڑھئیوں نےگلیورکودارالخلافہ لےجانےکےایک بڑی گاڑی بنائی۔

دروازہ کھولنےکےلۓمیرےپاس چابی نہیں ہے۔
Her accent is very easy to understand.
اس کا لہجہ سمجھنےکےلۓکافی آسان ہے۔
Milk is good to drink.
دودھ پینےکےلۓاچھا ہوتاہے۔
This house is to let.
یہ گھرکراۓکےلۓہے۔
Some boys do not like to play cricket.
بعض لڑکےکرکٹ کھیلنا پسند نہیں کرتے۔
I do not want to disclose the secret.
میں وہ رازفاش کرنا نہیں چاہتا۔

غلطی کرناانسان کاخاصہ ہےاورمعاف کرناخداکاکام ہے۔

ایسےکھلاڑی کوہراناکوئی آسان کام نہیں ہے۔

آپ سےمل کربڑی خوشی ہوئی ہے۔

میں یہاں آکربہت خوش ہوں۔

اس کےلۓرونےکےسواچارہ نہ تھا۔

اس نےعلی سےکہاکہ پیچھےنہ ہٹے۔

وہ لندن انگلش سیکھنےکےلۓگیا۔
To learn English is very easy.
انگلش سیکھنا بہت آسان ہے۔

Note: Don’t use “to” with following words.
