There are four kinds of sentences. They are
Assertive Sentences(بیانیہ جملے)
ایسے فقرات جو حقیقت یا تفصیل پیش کرتے ہوں

استاد کلاس پڑھا رہا تھا
There were no buses to Lahore today.
آج لاہور کے لیے کوئی بسیں نہیں تھی

Imperative Sentences(حکمیہ جملے)
ایسے جملے جن سے ہدایت،حکم یادرخواست کا اظہار ہو

Interrogative Sentences (سوالیہ جملے)
ایسے جملے جن میں سوال پوچھا جائے اور ان فقرات میں ہم سوالیہ نشان کا استعمال کرتے ہیں
